Local Authority Work

Framework agreements are in place between Jackson Jackson & Sons Ltd and several local authorities, i.e. Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside MBCs, as well as Manchester University.

The works carried out involve new build and refurbishment schemes for schools, colleges, offices, public buildings, libraries, museums and industrial projects for these and other Authorities. Jackson Jackson also carries out envelope, facelift and environmental improvement schemes on owner occupied housing, and projects for the Greater Manchester Police Authority.

Social Housing

Jackson Jackson & Sons Ltd provides contract services for the social housing consortium, GM Procure, to renovate and improve hundreds of properties throughout Greater Manchester.

The refurbishment of these properties involves complete internal works, including kitchens and bathrooms, and external improvements to upgrade the quality and standard of the region’s housing stock. Similar projects are implemented for Stockport Homes, Rochdale MBC and Oldham MBC.

NHS
Jackson Jackson & Sons Ltd has carried out a wide range of NHS projects, including major extensions for the Royal Oldham Hospital laundry and records office and the construction of a new breast care unit; the building of new health centres; and extending the care and support facilities at Springhill Hospice, Rochdale and Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Oldham.
